About Us

Christ Universal Church is the congregational ministry of Amazing Grace Ministries comprised of a network of cell churches with a mandate of... "Impacting Our World with the Love of Christ". It is designed to meet from house to house in small groups of 12 or less for teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. Love is the source, prayer is the key and faith unlocks the door. Why Love?... because love is the foundation for everything else. You see living as a Christian (Christ-like) must be more than obeying a list of do's and dont's; it is to be a reflection of experiencing the presence and love of God in everyday living. We welcome and look forward to introducing you to what may appear to many to be a new concept, but this is actually the original concept that Jesus had in mind when He founded the church.

It's not about buildings, it's is about people. It's not about ruling, it's about serving, It's not about taking, it's about giving. It's not about personalities or individuals, it's about body or corporate ministry. It's not about religion, it's about relationship. This is not church as usual. It's not about someone telling you what God says, it s about you finding out for yourself.  It's not about what you say... it's about what you do. If you are looking for church as usual, keep looking because there are plenty of places where you can find that. But if you are looking to be a part of a community of faith, that loves, nurtures, contributes, shares and cares for one another, then your search is over. It's about faith that works through love.

Be Kind One To Another, Tender-Hearted

We are a supernatural, non-denominational fellowship of believers which meet weekly from house to house in small groups, called "cell churches" for teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer and monthly for corporate worship and training. (Acts 2:42 - NIV). It is through these cell church fellowships and corporate worship services that we love, nurture and equip you for your individual and corporate calling. We have absolutely no room for anyone or anything that brings or promotes division within the Body of Christ on the basis of race, sex, nationality, socio-ecomonic status or in the form of denominationalism such as: Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Catholic, Church of God, Church of God in Christ, Disciples of Christ, Presbyterian, Episcopal or any other exclusive type of cult, sect or group that promotes human philosophy, vain teachings and the traditions of men... rather than the Word of God.

We must love people more than things, status, prestige and power, because Christ reigns Supreme above all of things earthly-minded things (Col. 2:6-11). Those who have come to God by faith in Christ are living stones in the Temple of God, therefore we are inclusive of all whom the Lord Our God calls and accepts and that He accepts. Whosoever will... let them come!

 Our worship is "Christ-Centered", our teaching is "Bible-Centered" and our ministry is "People-Centered".We recognize that not only must we minister to the spiritual needs of people, but also to their physical, emotional, social and financial needs and one of our ways we do this is by encouraging our members to look for opportunities to do something good for someone else and to... "love without limits."

We are not a black church, white church, asian church, latino church or any other exclusive group and we do not categorize people based on any of these type of issues including: socio-economic status, gender or educational level. We must love one another and treat each other right because, Jesus is not white or black, male or female,... He is the Son of God and God is a Spirit and those who worship the Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, not in the flesh. We are making God real to people, to bringing Him out of the spiritual realm into the phsical realm of everyday life.

Plant A Cell Church

We are planting cell churches in at least 49 locations across the southestern states of: SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, MS and TN and looking for teachable, humble believers to with a servant's heart to serve as Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.Contact us and explore the possibilities... the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. There are so many people who are ready to break free of religion and walk in a relationship with God, that translates into discipleship and fellowship with one another. Christ Universal Church is comprised of people from every kindred, tongue, tribe and nation, because God is not a respector of persons, nor does He show favoritism or favor one person or people group over another. There are no rich or poor, male or female, educated or uneducated, black or white in His Church. "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and everyone members one of another." (Romans 12:5).

But if you are looking for genuine and wholesome fellowship, teaching and nurturing... we have a place for you. It's not about buildings, it's about people. It's not about where you go or when you go, but why you go there. It's not about personalities, it's about Jesus. It's not about religion, it's about relationship. But let's not be so busy doing things for God that we neglect to take time to enjoy the abundant life that He came to give us, because we can't impact our world, if we are not actively engaged in the lives of people in our community, workplace, school, market place and the ordinary flow of life. Think outside the box... God has left the bulding. It's time to change the way you think about church.

We promote growth and develop for our members in the following ways in order that they can stay connected and fruitful in their relationship with Christ.
